Position Summary:

Facility in Weston, Florida is seeking an experienced CVOR Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist (OR CST) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the surgical team during operative procedures by performing various technical duties. This includes the preparation, maintenance, and protection of the surgical sterile field for the operative patient, provision of patient care to meet identified patient outcomes, and achieving facility goals as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a scrub assistant and assist the surgeon as needed during surgical procedures.

Ensure the sterility of supplies during the setup of surgical procedures.

Break down sterile and unsterile supplies for surgical cases to maintain a healthy operating room.

Assist with turning over operating rooms to ensure proper on-time starts of procedures.

Perform Certified Surgical Technologist duties according to the scope of practice designated by our facility.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be AHA).

National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT).

Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
