Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trade Support Analyst to join our team and help manage the significant financial risks in securities trading. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between equity securities traders, brokers, and custodian banks, ensuring that trade and settlement details are aligned prior to settlement. You will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while performing key post-trade functions. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office at the San Francisco, CA location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison for post-trade confirmation of trade details with brokers, ensuring executed trades result in the issuance of broker trade confirmations for each account allocation.
• Act as the main point of communication for trade allocation details to custodians and other relevant parties.
• Work effectively with traders, brokers, and custodian banks to resolve complex trade issues in a timely manner.
• Investigate and determine the cause of mis-matched trades between brokers and custodians and work with the appropriate party to resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate cancel/re-books with traders as necessary.
• Ensure all issues necessary for successful settlement are resolved quickly and accurately.
• Identify, research, and resolve failed trades in a proactive manner.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with team members, portfolio managers, traders, brokers, and custodians.

Key Qualifications:

• Bloomberg proficiency is required.
• In-depth knowledge of cash (domestic) and physical securities (DTC) settlements .
• Strong working knowledge of DTCC post-trade processing applications .
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external parties effectively.
