Job Description This person is responsible for knowledge of current graphic design software to assist with producing graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites. Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically requires 1 to 3 years of related experience.
- Creation of production packaging artwork for a variety of private label product brands and categories.
- Spec sheet creation and revision control, periodic sales flyer generation, as well as ad hoc collateral creation for events, tradeshows, and promotions.
- Helps bring new ideas for design and content creation to team using expertise and eye for great design.
- Scopes and creates templates for marketing team to be more efficient in posting on social media, blog, email, and other channels.
- Updates site promotions, email graphics, etc.
- Assists with internal projects that require visual graphics design.
- Manages other design.
Experience: - 3 years of in-house designer or at marketing agency (work samples are required) is required; 5 years preferred
Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Design or a related field is required
Skills: - Proven history of creating assets that are mobile, tablet, and desktop, friendly and provide a user experience that fits on all three screens is required
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies is required
- Passion for learning, reading, and expanding knowledge is required
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred
