Who Are We Looking For?
As the first Social Video Producer hire within the Listings team, you will support the Listings Services business (companies transitioning from private to the public market) and collaborate with listings leadership, marketing, sales and communications teams to bring video stories to life across multiple Nasdaq social platforms. Your primary responsibility is to tell the stories of our clients on pre-IPO, IPO day, and post-IPO for Nasdaq-listed companies.

The role requires an expert video storyteller who is passionate about showcasing and celebrating the world-leading brands and innovative companies that call Nasdaq home. You are adept at engaging with all types of internal and external clients, are a strong and creative visual producer, who can humanize the Nasdaq client, their brand, and tell their unique stories. You will report to the Head of Social for Listings and Corporate Solutions.

We are looking for a candidate that will:
  • Own and drive the creation of Nasdaq's social video content for the Listings business, setting the standard for elite visual and emotional storytelling
  • Execute social media video storytelling for pre-IPO, IPO day, and post-IPO for newly Nasdaq-listed companies, as well current Nasdaq listed clients
  • Attend marketing kick-off meetings and build organic social video plans, bringing client stories to life (IPOs, Anniversaries, Special Client Moments)
  • Align storytelling video content with the Nasdaq brand as well as the client's brand voice, target audience, and marketing goals
  • Draft video copy optimized for social media platforms and assist in capturing/shooting content at live events and IPO celebrations, ceremonies and large-scale events
  • Partner with Listings marketing colleagues to create and optimize concise, shareable social clips optimized for organic and paid campaigns
  • Consistently monitor and report on social video metrics and KPIs to effectively measure performance and report on how we are improving those over time
  • Project manage, edit and finalize social media roll out plans pertaining to video and prepare internal reporting collateral as needed for key constituents
  • Maintain relationships with Nasdaq-listed companies and support ongoing visibility in partnership social video proposals
  • Thrive in our fast-paced environment, fulfilling last-minute requests and quick turnarounds, while prioritizing ongoing assignments
  • Given the nature of this role, we require a hybrid work schedule in our NYC office, (3 days a week, scaling up and down depending on IPOs/client visits), & ability to travel to meet and film with clients
Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field with excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, video and writing skills
  • 4+ years of experience building or managing social video for brands or publishers, experience working with internal and/or external agencies, clients is a plus
  • Savvy user of essential social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Expert with video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite video products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator), motion applications (After Effects & Audition) and standard design applications is a plus
  • Self-starter with the confidence and ability to propose innovative strategies, manage initiatives and come up with new ideas, as well as optimize content to generate the best results
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • A portfolio of video work is required to be considered for this role.

The base pay range for this role is $70,200 - $117,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
