DESCRIPTION

Join our passionate team and contribute to building a best-in-class transportation experience for all partners who sell their goods on Amazon. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager for Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS), you will play a crucial role in upholding financial compliance, cargo integrity, and creating end-to-end visibility in Amazon's inbound supply chain network. This fast-paced and exciting environment offers the opportunity to make a significant impact, fostering a supportive and inclusive work culture.

Key job responsibilities

- Own accountability initiatives to ensure adherence to security requirements.
- Increase visibility and accuracy of the chain of custody for shipments inbound to Amazon.
- Deliver key initiatives in the short-term (1-12 weeks) and build a strategic roadmap to establish Amazon as an industry leader in cargo security.
- Leverage a team to coach selling partners, carriers, and Amazon on best practices, and deliver clear and measurable metrics to track progress and compliance.
- Simplify the experience to reduce costs while simultaneously increasing security and documented chain of custody for shipments.

As a successful candidate, you will set the right KPIs and goals to deliver results and earn trust through partnerships with multiple stakeholders from different organizations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to convey complex decisions, trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to leaders. We seek a well-rounded individual who can deliver short-term strategic deliverables and think big to accomplish broader organizational goals, providing a delightful customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading complex cross-functional programs that impact multiple organizations throughout the entire life cycle.

- Understanding business challenges, automation limits, scaling factors, and the reasons behind leadership decisions.
- Bridging gaps between teams, processes, and systems to prevent common failure scenarios.
- Collaborating with managers and executives to drive critical business initiatives.
