Position Summary: The Marketing Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics operations related to marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams. The Marketing Events Coordinator ensures that all marketing materials are delivered on time, in the right quantities, and to the correct locations, while also managing inventory and supporting the execution of marketing strategies.

Marketing Events Coordinator Principle Responsibilities:

Coordination of Sales Marketing materials and resources:
  1. Coordinate the logistics of marketing campaigns, including the distribution of promotional materials, product samples, and event supplies.
  2. Strategically plan and execute logistics for sales events, trade shows, and conferences including the shipment of materials and booths or displays.
  • Ensure items clear customs and arrive on-time for events.
  • Work with external vendors, suppliers, shipping companies and customs in various countries
3. Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to align logistics operations with overall marketing strategies and objectives


Event Logistics Oversight:


1. Maintain and manage inventory of marketing materials (brochures, business cards, product samples, promotional items, etc.), ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly stored


2. Assist in managing the budget for marketing sales activities, ensuring that expenses are tracked and within the allocated budget.

3. Monitor and report on the status of marketing logistics operations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

4. Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, international shipping and custom standards, and quality standards

Other:

1. Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks


2. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated supervisor

Requirements

Marketing Events Coordinator Education Requirements (R/Required, P/Preferred):

(P) Bachelor's Degree


Degrees Preferred: Marketing, Logistics, Business Administration, related degree/experience in the field


Marketing Events Coordinator Training, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Specific Training in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):

1. (R) Strong organizational and strategic planning skills


2. (R) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

3. (R) Proficient in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft office suite (strong Excel skills are a must)


4. (R) Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

5. (P) Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies

Experience/Knowledge in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):


1. (R) 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, marketing operations, or a similar role

2. (P) Experience in event planning and execution

3. (P) Knowledge of supply chain management
