Founded in 2007, Propel has made and serviced over 55,000 loans. Combined they are one of the largest property tax lenders in Texas and the only property tax lender in Nevada.

The Loan Processing Support Specialist (LPSS) is a critical part of the Processing/Document Control Team. They will support all functions in the department including Processing, Closing Coordination, Audit & Funding and Document Control by completing duties that contribute to the success of each function. The primary focus for this hire will be in the areas of auditing and funding; however, the responsibilities can vary depending on the needs of the department and/ or company. During any given day, the LPSS may retrieve property images (Processing), locate, and assign a notary for a closing (Closing Coordination), audit recently completed loan documents (Audit & Funding) and file documents that have been recorded (Document Control). The ability to multi-task and switch gears, sometimes at a moment’s notice, is essential to succeed in this role. Individuals in this role thrive on the variety each day brings. They are also passionate about meeting deadlines, helping achieve company sales objectives, and maintaining accuracy in all they do.

Essential Functions

  • Research property information from electronic, digital, and other sources
  • Assist with sending completed loan files to notaries for customer signing
  • Audit incoming signed loan documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Organize documents in predetermined order, scan, and save complete documents to appropriate loan files
  • Assist with preparing document recording packages for mailing to county offices
  • File physical and electronic documents as needed
  • Review dashboards and complete related duties to maintain acceptable levels
  • Create and mail notifications to customers and counties as needed
  • Pull and shred paid in full Payment Agreements
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • MUST BE DETAILED ORIENTED
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe and Web Searches
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Moderate problem-solving skills
  • Available to work between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday and potential overtime
