You must be able and willing to be a highly responsible, capable, and contributing member of our team, able to utilize technology, and think on your feet. As part of our award-winning company, we will work with you to achieve career success!

What you will Do:

  • Perform and check office surveys including reduction of hydrographic surveys using HYPACK and other software, performing least squared and compass rule computations, and volume and area calculations.
  • Travel, often on short notice, and work safely in various locations and all types of weather conditions.

What you Need:

  • Experience: 2+ years performing hydrographic surveys or 4+ years as a land surveyor with a strong desire to expand expertise as demonstrated by the willingness to take hydrographic survey coursework outside of working hours
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the United States to meet project requirements
  • Communication: Good verbal and written skills
  • Safety: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

How you Align:

  • People Focused: Professional, respectful, and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate internally and externally
  • Can Do Attitude: Positively engages with challenges, facilitates problem-solving, and takes initiative to deliver solutions
  • Responsive: Communicates openly, proactively, and promptly, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

What you might Add:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Hydrography, or a related science field
  • Certification: NSPS/THSOA Certification as a Hydrographer or Certified Survey Technician
  • Licensure: Professional Surveyor or Surveyor Intern
  • More Experience: Field control, topographic, and boundary surveys and CADD/GIS experience

Salary range $52,000-$156,000 determined by education, experience, licensure, and KSAs of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
