Position Overview:
The Company is seeking an Event Marketing Coordinator to lead and support event-driven marketing efforts that align with the company’s growth initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Branding, this role will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of client-facing events, seminars, and community sponsorships. This full-time, onsite position requires strong project management skills and a creative, solutions-driven approach to event marketing in a professional services environment.
Responsibilities of the Event Marketing Coordinator:
- Coordinate the planning and execution of internal and external client events, including seminars, workshops, and community sponsorships.
- Oversee logistics for events such as registration setup, invitations, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
- Design and develop event-related marketing collateral, including advertisements, flyers, and presentations.
- Manage and maintain the company’s event calendar, ensuring timely communication and preparation for all scheduled activities.
- Support the firm’s sponsorship of charitable events and manage logistics surrounding those activities.
- Collaborate with vendors for event-related promotional items and marketing materials.
- Provide on-site support during events and ensure seamless execution, including setup, guest assistance, and post-event breakdown.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s website and social media accounts with event information, including photos, news releases, and relevant updates.
- Help attorneys and professional staff promote events through social media and professional networking channels.
- Track event-related expenses and manage vendor payments in coordination with the accounting department.
- Prepare event proposals and competitive intelligence research as needed for business development opportunities.
Qualifications for the Event Marketing Coordinator:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in event marketing or coordination, with a background in professional services or law firms a plus.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines.
- Experience with event registration systems (e.g., Cvent) and digital event marketing tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or similar digital media tools.
- Ability to remain organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work outside regular hours as needed for event execution.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field is required.
