We are looking for an Electronic Security Technician to join our team immediately. This position will be supporting 2 different government sites in the Albany, NY area. **This position does require a government security clearance** You will primarily be responsible for the maintenance and service (corrective maintenance) of various commercial size access controls, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Other responsibilities include: Conducts maintenance and service work of existing Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to include, but not limited to, access controls, intrusion detection, and camera systems. Specific systems include, but not limited to: Softwarehouse Ccure 9000, American Dynamics, Axis, and others. May install security devices and infrastructure at times in accordance with installation plan according to the national electric code, company and customer guidelines Assists with security system programming and setup. Conducts testing to ensure proper operation of equipment after installation or repairs Conducts testing of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service. This position is a Monday-Friday, 8-5PM shift + a rotating on-call shift, every 6 weeks. You will get a company vehicle! Experience with CCURE 9000 and American Dynamics Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
