The Director of Competition for UPA International, PPA Tour, and MLP is responsible for overseeing all competitive aspects of pickleball events. This role ensures the highest standards of competition, from event planning and execution to player relations and rule enforcement.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all aspects of pickleball competitions
• Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations governing the sport.
• Oversee the development and implementation of competition formats and structures.
• Coordinate with officials, referees, and technical staff to ensure fair and smooth operations.
• Manage player relations, including registrations, rankings, and dispute resolutions.
• Work closely with the marketing and sponsorship teams to enhance event visibility and engagement.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and competitiveness of events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sports competition management.
• In-depth knowledge of pickleball rules, regulations, and competitive structures.
• Strong organizational and logistical skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
