Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Performs cash handling duties for pharmacy customers
- Provides superlative customer service for all customers
- Answers telephone and assists customers
- Assists pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication
- Receives and stores incoming supplies
- Completes data entry for customers including: patient information, drug, doctor, prescription, third party billing, DUR (Drug Utilization Review) screening, and other third party requirements
- Orders, returns, and reconciles DSD and warehouse inventories
- Participates in training and developing of new partners

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Typically requires 2-5 years of related experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 1-2 years experience as a pharmacy technician necessary
- State Certification for Pharmacy Technicians
