Job Description

Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be primarily responsible for data analysis along with designing visualizations, dashboards, and reports for business users. We are looking for a candidate to support the team by becoming a go-to source for business insights. The scope of this position will provide access to many different facets of the business and intelligence reporting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under general direction, responsible for converting business requirements and high-level data collection needs into well-specified analyses, reporting, and visualizations.
• Use BI tools to run queries to generate visualizations, dashboards, and reports targeted for the functional and executive leadership teams.
• Collaborate with end users to improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value.
• Develop and maintain data models to ensure timely and accurate deliverables, data integrity, efficient workflow, reusability, and automation.
• Contributes to the maintenance of documentation including data definitions, sources, and relationships
• Produce Ad Hoc reports as needed based on business needs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years working with Data Visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)
• 1-2 years of experience doing hands on data analysis and providing data driven insights
• Strong proficiency in Excel (lookup functions, logic functions, pivot tables, etc)
• Working knowledge of Salesforce reports & dashboards, or related CRM system
• Familiarity/Experience with SQL, R, Python a plus
• Quick learner capable of adapting to changing and/or competing priorities
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Highly analytical and quantitative, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
