Technical/Functional Skills 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.2. Proven experience as a data engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, and related technologies.3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS for data integration, analysis, and reporting.4. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.5. Familiarity with data integration tools such as Talend and Attunity for ETL processes and data synchronization.6. Proficiency in database development and optimization using PL/SQL, T-SQL, or similar languages.7. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling concepts.8. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data-related issues and implement effective solutions.9. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Roles & Responsibilities 1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines using Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Talend, and Attunity to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems to Azure data storage solutions.2. Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability to meet business requirements and ensure efficient data processing.3. Design and implement data models and data warehouses using Microsoft SSAS, Azure Synapse Analytics, or other relevant technologies to support reporting and analytics requirements.4. Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to define data architecture and ensure alignment with business objectives.5. Develop interactive and insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft SSRS, Power BI, or other reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making.6. Implement advanced analytics solutions using machine learning models, data mining techniques, or other analytical tools to derive actionable insights from data.7. Configure and manage data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Attunity, or other tools to synchronize data between on-premises systems and Azure cloud environments.8. Implement change data capture (CDC) mechanisms and real-time data replication processes to ensure data consistency and integrity.9. Develop and optimize stored procedu res, functions, and queries using PL/SQL or T-SQL to support data processing and reporting requirements.10. Perform performance tuning and query optimization to enhance database performance and minimize processing times.
