$35/hr with 2+ years of piston GA experience

$45/hr IA with piston GA experience

US Aviation Academy is hiring licensed A&P Aircraft Mechanics for our Denton, Texas, location.

As a major function of an international flight training academy, our A&P aircraft mechanics maintain a large fleet of over 100 fixed-wing aircraft including Cessna 152, Cessna 172, and Piper Senecas and Seminoles. Job functions include 50/100 hour inspections, Annual Inspections (for IAs) and squawk repairs. A successful Aircraft Mechanic candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate *REQUIRED*
• Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturing manuals
• Possess adequate tools
• Be able to read, write, and understand the English language
• Be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push-pull, walking, sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, and reaching
• Available to work four, 10 hour shifts, Friday-Monday
• Piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience preferred.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime available
