What You’ll Do…

This position is located in Houston, TX. Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.

The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time hybrid internships. The summer 2025 internship is expected to begin on May 19, 2025.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain on-the-job experience and contribute to real world projects in areas including: External Reporting, Global Operations Accounting, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning/Analysis, Product Service Line Accounting, Financial Systems, Tax Accounting, and Risk Management as well as other areas.
  • Gain a broad-based understanding of our business, learn our organization and systems, establish a professional network within one of the leading global oilfield service companies, have exposure and discussions with senior executives, and experience a variety of social events and facility tours.

Additionally, upon successful completion of the internship and pending an offer for full time employment, you will have the opportunity to participate in the Finance & Accounting Rotational program. Program consists of 6 weeks, in 4 different accounting/finance departments, getting on the job training, experience and exposure, prior to making a decision on full-time placement into a specific department.

What You’ll Bring to Our Team

Required Qualifications:

  • Planning to pursue a master's degree in accounting to allow for accreditation. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related fields, master’s degree in accounting preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location.

  • Corporate housing provided for the summer to those candidates who qualify.

Salary Range: $26/hour
